Are there any after market alternatives for pallet forks for a JD 410 front loader mounted on a 4010 ? I don't want to spend $800 for occasional use

Rankin makes forks that are around $600 for a 430 loader, as opposed to the $1000 JD wants. You might check with them. Go to this link, and in the vendors box scroll down to Rankin, then scroll down to the forklifts section and click on "loader mounted forklifts".

I ended up getting Rankin 3ph forks instead. They obviously won't lift as high on the 3ph but they will carry about 1000 lbs more. I paid $340 and Rankin modified them to fit the iMatch quick hitch for another $30. Well built forks, and Rankin seems easy to work with but I think you'll have to order through a dealer. ....
